- Low Impacts to Environment
Study has shown that Corn-based bio-plastic emits climate change gas in landfill and some need high temperatures to decompose. FPC can be decomposed naturally and does not emit any greenhouse gases.
- Universal Recyclable and Reusable
Bio-plastics such as PLA cannot be recycled in many countries, it can contaminate the waste stream, reportedly making other recycled plastics unsalable. FPC is formulated with patented technologies with proven results that can be mixed with any other recycled plastics.
- Highly Versatile
FPC can be used by itself or mixed with many conventional oil-based plastics to produce eco-friendly products. Compatible with many existing molding process including injection , extrusion , Foaming and vacuum does not require any modification of equipment.
- Bio-renewable and Non-competing with food production ersion
Bio-plastics such as PLA, compete for land and water with biofuels and food crops (as the primary feedstock is currently corn). About 200,000 tones of bio-plastics produced, requiring 250,000-350,000 tonnes of crops. On the other hand, FPC utilizes agricultural waste.
- High Cost-effective
Bio-plastics such as PLA, PHAs, PBS …etc. are typically 2~3X more expensive than conventional oil-based plastics, due to its complex and high production cost , so the market acceptance is low, greatly hindered its scope of application and development. FPC is at similar cost as conventional plastics in the long run.

- On average, producing each kilogram of PLA requires above 58MJ of energy , each kilogram of PP / PE / PET requires above 80MJ of energy , each kilogram of FPC requires only 10MJ of energy. Less energy consumption means a lower carbon emissions.
- Almost no water consumption during FPC production process . Producing each kilogram of PLA consume 50Kg water , PS plastic consume 150Kg water .
- The only by-product of FPC production is clean water, almost zero air pollution emissions.
